The MIT Climate Action Team hosted "The Future of Climate Policy: Experts Discuss Carbon Pricing" on Thursday, January 25th.

Carbon pricing attaches a fee to carbon emissions, but the word "tax" is usually avoided.

At the center of Thursday evening's discussion were two carbon pricing bills currently in Massachusetts Legislature.

Mending Cambridge, a men's leadership group, hosted a conversation on January 3rd at Cambridge Rindge and Latin's Media Cafe.

 

Even during winter months, skaters of all ages and levels enjoy Cambridge's Lynch Family Skatepark tucked away at 0 Education St, Cambridge, MA 02141.

As long as temperatures are above freezing and there is no risk of frostbite, skaters say there is no reason not to. On Tuesday, December 19th it was warm enough to skate in a t-shirt.

The park has been open for just over two years now, and has a supportive, friendly vibe for skaters of all levels.

On the record-breaking cold morning of Nov. 11, when temperatures dropped to 23 degrees, Cambridge water department crews worked to repair a major water main leak on Cambridge Street and Fifth Street.

Water burst nearly 15 feet in the air, in the middle of the Cambridge Street intersection, and the Cambridge Water Department says water service interruptions may occur. The Cambridge Police also say commuters can expect traffic delays in the area as well.
